Motiv ReFlex integration was introduced with Custom Code v7.2. It allows the DME to communicate with a supported ReFlex controller over PT-CAN, giving MG Flasher access to selected data from the auxiliary fueling system.

ReFlex can support port-injection strategies and provide useful inputs such as ethanol content and low-pressure fuel pressure. The MG Flasher app can log supported ReFlex parameters, while Custom Code can use selected fault information for protection and diagnostics.

The integration depends on both vehicle compatibility and a correctly installed ReFlex system. Configuration errors can produce invalid data, communication conflicts or protection events.

Motiv ReFlex integration does not have its own Custom Code Menu position. The tachometer continues to display normal engine RPM, while the Check Engine Light may blink slowly when supported MGF protection is active.

The ReFlex integration supplies data and diagnostic information. The RPM gauge is not used to navigate ReFlex settings or choose a CAN ID.

ReFlex Can Support
More Than Port Injection.

A compatible ReFlex installation can also provide ethanol-content and low-pressure fuel-pressure information. These inputs can complement supported MG Flasher Flex Fuel and protection strategies.

ReFlex is not required for every Flex Fuel setup, and installing ReFlex does not automatically enable Flex Fuel Blending. The vehicle still needs the correct Custom Code, calibration, sensor configuration and fuel-system hardware.

What does Motiv ReFlex integration do in MG Flasher?

It allows compatible MG Flasher Custom Code to communicate with a configured Motiv ReFlex controller and expose selected PI, ethanol, pressure, auxiliary and status information to the app.

Which Custom Code version is required?

Initial Motiv ReFlex support was added in Custom Code v7.2. The exact available version still depends on the vehicle ECU software.

How does ReFlex connect to the DME?

The supported setup uses the vehicle PT-CAN network. The ReFlex controller must use a supported CAN ID and the correct Universal canbus patch.

Which CAN IDs are supported?

The current documentation lists 0x334, 0x00EC and 0x04CB. Use the ID configured for the actual installation and avoid conflicts with other modules.

Can MG Flasher log port-injection data?

Yes. Compatible Custom Code can expose parameters including raw and post-factor PI duty cycle, ethanol PI scaling, system status and auxiliary outputs.

Can ReFlex provide ethanol and low-pressure fuel data?

A compatible ReFlex setup can report ethanol content and low-pressure fuel pressure, which may be logged and used by supported Custom Code strategies.

What happens if a ReFlex fault is detected?

When the relevant protection is enabled, MG Flasher can enter MGF Limp Mode, prevent boost, blink the CEL slowly and record a Custom Code DTC.

Does Motiv ReFlex automatically enable Flex Fuel?

No. Flex Fuel Blending still requires compatible Custom Code, a correctly prepared calibration and the required sensor and fuel-system configuration.
