Valet Mode is designed for situations where another person needs to drive the vehicle but the owner wants a restricted performance profile. When enabled, the DME uses the maximum vehicle speed, engine speed and torque limits configured in the MG Flasher app.
It is a performance-restriction feature, not an immobilizer. The vehicle remains driveable within the configured limits, making the feature suitable for valet parking, service movement or other controlled hand-over scenarios.

The configured limits work together while Valet Mode is active. The DME continues to operate the vehicle, but restricts performance according to the values prepared in the MG Flasher app.

The Custom Code Menu and Live Control toggle Valet Mode ON or OFF. The speed, RPM and torque values themselves are prepared through the compatible MG Flasher Custom Code configuration.
If the driver exceeds a configured Valet Mode speed, RPM or torque limit, the DME sets an exceeded-limit flag. The Check Engine Light continues to blink until Valet Mode is disabled, including through a vehicle power cycle.
Once the flag has been set, MG Flasher documentation states that the ECU maps out a lowered power and torque curve. This gives the owner a visible indication that the configured restrictions were exceeded.
Supported vehicles can toggle Valet Mode through Live Control, the Custom Code Menu or Custom Code Diagnostics.
Connect to the vehicle and toggle Valet Mode ON or OFF directly from the Live Control page.
Navigate to the 7K RPM menu position using a supported UniRocker or RockerCombo configuration.

Valet Mode uses the combined instrument-cluster logic of the OEM tachometer and Check Engine Light. The tachometer identifies the Valet Mode submenu or its ON/OFF value, while the CEL distinguishes menu confirmation from an exceeded-limit warning.
CCM only toggles Valet Mode OFF or ON. Maximum vehicle speed, engine speed and torque are prepared in the compatible Custom Code configuration.
After a configured Valet limit is exceeded, the slow CEL warning can remain through a vehicle power cycle until Valet Mode is disabled.
The slow blink confirms that the CCM root menu is active.
The warning can remain after a power cycle and clears when Valet Mode is disabled.
While the CEL blinks slowly, move through the CCM root menu until the tachometer points to 7K for Valet Mode.
