Live Control provides a dedicated MG Flasher app screen for supported On-The-Fly settings. Instead of starting another flash whenever you want to select a map slot or enable a compatible function, the app reads the current value directly from the ECU and sends the requested change to the DME.
Custom Code is MG Flasher software installed inside a compatible DME. It enables the supported On-The-Fly functions that Live Control can read and change. The exact cards shown depend on the Custom Code version, ECU software, vehicle platform and features enabled in the calibration.

The interface does not treat every feature or slot as automatically available. It checks the installed configuration and presents disabled or invalid states where a control cannot be used.

What is MG Flasher Live Control?
Live Control is an app page that reads and adjusts supported On-The-Fly settings while connected to the vehicle. These functions are provided by compatible MG Flasher Custom Code installed inside the DME.
Which app and Custom Code versions are required?
Use the latest supported MG Flasher app. Compatible Custom Code v6.9.x or later is required, while individual controls may require newer versions and supported ECU software.
Which features can Live Control adjust?
Depending on the installed Custom Code and vehicle, controls can include Switchable Maps, Burbles, Max Cooling, Anti-Lag RPM, Ethanol Override, Exhaust Flap, Radiator Flap and Valet Mode.
Why is a feature dimmed or disabled?

Does Live Control stay synchronized with the Custom Code Menu?
Yes. The app periodically polls the DME, so compatible changes made through the steering-wheel Custom Code Menu can be reflected in Live Control.
Can I use Live Control while driving?
The app may not technically prevent it, but MG Flasher documentation strongly recommends making changes only while stationary because settings can affect engine behaviour immediately.
What happens if the connection drops during a change?
If the DME already acknowledged the command, the change may have taken effect. If the connection was lost before acknowledgement, the previous value remains.
Why do I not see Radiator Flap control?
Radiator Flap control only appears on compatible vehicle and ECU configurations, described in the source material as supported G-Series or Aurix-based applications.
Do Live Control changes persist after the vehicle is switched off?
Persistence can depend on the installed Custom Code version and the storage behaviour of the specific On-The-Fly feature. Consult the current Custom Code documentation for the connected setup.
